We fix what others got wrong

This shower was set to fail. We found out why.

A previous installer left this shower without the waterproofing and support it needed. These are real photos from the tear-out, with what we found.

Wrong adhesive, unsealed seams, a curb with no waterproofing, and banding that never bonded. Four photos, one shower, every defect found in the tear-out.

Incorrect adhesive and improper coverage under the tile.

Substrate seams unsealed and unsupported, so the mortar cracked.

No waterproofing around the curb, where water pools first.

Banding never bonded to the substrate along the base of the walls.
